Il y avait en face de l'air frais de la fin de soirée qui s'annonçait, des mines rougies par le soleil, infiniment pesantes dans le sable chaud des bords de mer. L'endroit était laissé aux plus calmes, pour les instants intenses des rougeurs du coucher de soleil. Les aléas de la vie m'avait amené jusqu'ici, sous le flottement des cerf-volants, dans l'intimité la plus parfaite.
There was in front of us some fresh air from the coming evening and, in front of that, faces turning red, and a heavy presence in the hot sand of the ocean's beaches. The place was left to the quieter ones, for the intense instant of the red sunset. Life has brought me until here, under the kite floading, in the most intimate way.
