Marinkovci - On the road (Livanjski, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Bosnia and Herzegovina
Of a common decision, we had left the conventional white lines; Bosnia then appeared to us as an endless playground. From down in the valleys to up in the mountains, the mineral roads - when they were existing - were crossing in a labyrinth of new tracks. In our craziest dreams, never had we imagined such a network of opportunities open wide in front og our eyes. We were leaving Bosnia to Croatia in the most intimate way; we were following the current of the stony rivers while, in the West, the urban detours were becoming the tomorrow’s norms.
From inside cultures, people and countries, Léon wants to reflect the world as it is. With and without lines, Léon tries not to lie about what he sees and lets know what people express, and what landscapes tell.
