Parmi les mortels

Larche - View over the Alps (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), France

The relative slowness that was animating our jerky movements had brought us to take the time to contemplate the byways that we were using, to take the time to estimate the greatness in each of the details that were surrounding us. The sharp mountains, well settled in their mineral outfit, were mixing in a natural ball whose nuances were expressed at all times of the day. Where all were seeing the identical, us, were wandering around a world where shadows were vibrating of sun.

From inside cultures, people and countries, Léon wants to reflect the world as it is. With and without lines, Léon tries not to lie about what he sees and lets know what people express, and what landscapes tell.
