Dans le monde animal, si chacun avait son rythme de vie, les intérêts partagés faisaient bien l’unanimité. Assis autour d’un festin de foin, ils se côtoyaient sans se voir, ils se mixaient sans en sentir les effluves du paraître ; les râteliers étaient le lieu de tous les compromis.

In the wild world, if each of them had its daily routine, the shared interests were winning unanimous support. Sitting around a feast of hay, they were mixing without seeing each other, they were mixing without feeling the effluviums of appearances; the hayracks were the place of all the compromises.

From inside cultures, people and countries, Léon wants to reflect the world as it is. With and without lines, Léon tries not to lie about what he sees and lets know what people express, and what landscapes tell.
