Felsőrajk - In the village (Zala), Hungary

At the centre of this village, easily conquered by the modernity of a lenient concrete, a miniature oppidum had set its roots in the open air. The grass there was thick and green, gleaming of dew during the fresh springly mornings while, on the other side of the asphalt, the chimneys were spitting a thick wood smoke out along the grey walls that were separating us from the reality. History was being on watch, now protecting itself from the unstoppable assaults of men.

From inside cultures, people and countries, Léon wants to reflect the world as it is. With and without lines, Léon tries not to lie about what he sees and lets know what people express, and what landscapes tell.
