Carapace intérieure

Gvozd - In the village (Sisačko-Moslavačka), Croatia

Through the pores of this split up skin, brutalized by the ambiant imprisonment that the concrete was provoking, a universe seemed to find its way through this being with mineral edges. The general asphyxia seemed to have become the last possible defence against the assaults lead by the outside world; the inner shell of an entire nation was imploding.

From inside cultures, people and countries, Léon wants to reflect the world as it is. With and without lines, Léon tries not to lie about what he sees and lets know what people express, and what landscapes tell.
